    Remarks:
The sculpture marks the grave of Wallace Brown (1872-1939), a farmer who built a log cabin on Meridian Road just east of Mitchell, Indiana. The sculpture is a near replica of the cabin Brown constructed. A stonecarver from the Bedford, Indiana area may have created the sculpture.
