    Description: 
    A life size bronze figure of a fisherman, complete with fishing pole, bait bucket, slicker, and heavy boots, seated on a rock. The sculpture is installed atop a rectangular granite base.

    Remarks: 
    The will of Emil Ambos specified that $3,000 -$5,000 be spent on the sculpture and the remainder of the estate go to Children's Hospital in Columbus. Ambos also specified that two dinners be held for friends and "other genuine lovers of legitimate angling" who in the judgment of the will's executor, "knew how to appreciate such an occasion." The dinners were held in 1905 and in 1908.
