    Description: 
    One panel represents ancient Mediterranean cultures--a Sumerian with a cuneiform tablet, an Egyptian with a papyrus scroll, and a Greek man playing a lyre. The other panel represents the ancient Asian cultures with a Chinese man with a scroll, a Persian man with a harp, and an Indian with a bamboo-leaf book. At the bottom of each panel is a modern youth with a book. In the upper corners of each panel are symbols of the solar system.
