    Remarks:
IAS files contain related excerpt from Viola E. Garfield and Linn A. Forrest's "The Wolf and the Raven," Seattle, University of Washington Press, 1948, pgs. 128, 131, 133, which gives legend of the eagle and blackfish. The eagle at the top identifies the house group to which the deceased belonged, and the blackfish symbolizes the long narrative of Natishlane, who made the first blackfish.
Klawock Totem Pole Park contains twenty-one replicas made from the original totem poles of the Tlingit fishing village of Tuxekan. The poles were created in the 1930s through the Roosevelt Administration's CCC program.
