IAS files contain related excerpt from Viola E. Garfield and Linn A. Forrest's "The Wolf and the Raven," Seattle: University of Washington Press, 1948, pgs. 131 and 133. The totem recalls the legend of a young Kicksetti woman and a frog, who in the guise of a handsome young man, enticed her to his home at the bottom of a lake.
Klawock Totem Pole Park contains twenty-one replicas made from the original totem poles of the Tlingit fishing village of Tuxekan. The poles were created in the 1930s through the Roosevelt Administration's CCC program.
