    Remarks: 
    One-third scale model for one of several figures representing the Wisdom of the East, that were to have been executed in glazed terra cotta for the pediment of the south wing of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The pediment was not completed because of Philadelphia's financial problems. The theme of the pediment was to have been the Pursuit of Wisdom. The architects for the building were Zantzinger, Borie and Medary.
