    Description:
Depiction of a Kachina or Native American spirit/god. Male figure which appears to be dancing. His proper right leg is flexed with the foot appearing to provide support. His proper left leg is also flexed, but appears as if it is in the air. Both arms are raised above his head, and in each hand is a wand. His head dress is elaborate and geometric. His upper torso and arms are uncovered. Falling from each arm is an armband made of flowing vine-like plant elements.
His lower body is clothed in a skirt-like garment, with fringe at the bottom. He also wears a belt. His feet are clad in traditional native moccasins and leggings. His face is a very simplified mask with only dots to represent the eyes and nose. The torso and arms and face are highly polished to a glossy black. The remaining surfaces are unpolished and the background is rough, with chisel marks evident.
