View of the interior of the West Point Iron and Cannon Foundry in Cold Spring, New York, where workers are casting the shaft for the propeller of an ocean liner. The men are grouped around the shaft, leaning back as they struggle to pull it out of the blazing fire, which illuminates the interior of the foundry.
