Interior of Captain George Haggerty's Cobbler Shop in Nantucket. Captain Haggerty stands and repairs a shoe, while a shoeless girl sits with woman standing behind her, who points to the wall. A man is seated at far left reading a newspaper and another man is seated at far right, with his back to the viewer. Several shoes are on the floor and tools are along the wall.
