(On back:) One of the earliest buildings in St. Paul, on the site of the present Prince Block, southeast corner of Third and Jackson streets. Painted in 1858, by a lady who was governess of the children of Gen. H. H. Sibley when he lived at Mendota. The lower part was occupied, as an auction store, by Reuben Warner, now (1896) of Lindeke, Warner & Schurneier.
