    Description: 
    A turtle, wearing a helmet, goggles and scarf, rides on the back of a snowmobile. He holds the steering wheel with his two front legs, as if he were human. He is painted green and yellow, with black facial features. The helmet, scarf, and snowmobile are yellow. The snowmobile has a black seat and black runners.

    Remarks: 
    Designed by Creative Display, who then contracted the work to be done by Boots Reynolds (of Western Humor Illustrated). Located on the site of the start and finish of the Peace Garden Classic Snowmobile Race, it was designed to encourage tourism in the Bottineau and Turtle Mt. area. Cost $26,000. IAS files contain an unpublished description of the work from the Bottineau Chamber of Commerce.
