    Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned to celebrate The Pueblo Chieftain's 125th anniversary and was dedicated to the thousands who have delivered the newspaper since it was founded on June 1, 1968. Gus Romero and David McKean assisted the artist. James Robieson fabricated the base. Fifth-grader Matt Valdez was the sitter for the sculpture. The cocker spaniel puppy was fabricated as a tribute to a friend's dog, Rocky, that was killed by a car.
