Medium:  Stone with gold leaf. Dimensions:  L. 30 ft. x H. 10 ft. Description:  The relief sculpture depicts three jockeys, high in the saddle, as their horses run full throttle to cross a finish line. Subject:  Figure group Portrait male -- Barbee, George Occupation -- Sport -- Jockey Recreation -- Sport & Play -- Equestrian Animal -- Horse Animal -- Portrait -- Ten Broeck Animal -- Portrait -- Tom Ochiltree Animal -- Portrait -- Parole Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- Maryland -- Baltimore Relief Sculpture Owner:  Pimlico Race Course, Clubhouse entrance, Baltimore, Maryland Remarks:  The bas relief was copied from a Currier & Ives print and depicts a famous horse race held at Pimlico on Oct. 24, 1877. The horses depicted are: Ten Broeck, Tom Ochiltree and Parole. Jockey George Barbee sits atop Parole, the race winner.
