Description:
A large wave, with three fish swimming in the wave and being threatened by three birds. Six water jets spray onto the sculpture, which rests within the basin on a bed of pea gravel.

Sculpture cost $10,000. The basin used to be a wading pool, but has been filled in with pea gravel. For related article see: Triplicate, July 13, 1966. Because of water spray, at time of SOS! survey, full condition assessment difficult. On nearby plaque: In memoriam/dedicated to those who lost their lives in the city tsunami, March 28, 1964/(two columns of names)/Plaque Donated By Crescent City Rotary Club.
