    Description: 
    A pair of organically formed sculptures are shaped roughly like inverted triangles. One piece is two feet taller. Their swirling appearance earned them the nicknames "Fred & Ginger."

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by the City of Rochester for $25,000 and placed at the Metro Center Parking Garage at the suggestion of the director of the Eastman School, in an effort to renew the downtown area around the school. The original designs called for a 44 foot wall to be placed on a walkway inside the garage; but the design was altered when the decision was made to install the sculpture outdoors. IAS files contain related articles from Upstate Magazine, Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, Oct. 9, 1983 and the Rochester Review, Fall 1985.
