A sculpture arranged on a landscape setting consisting of a tee-pee, a bison, a prairie dog, and at the top of a hill, a Native-American male figure on horseback wearing a headdress and holding a spear with his raised arm.

Remarks:
According to the artist, the sculpture represents "a documented 1864-65 Cheyenne Indian encampment and the last wild buffalo killed in Cheyenne County April, 1887." Nearby plaque reads: These Iron Sculptures by Tobe Zweygardt are in Memory of the Cheyenne and other Indian Survivors of the 29, Nov. 1864 Massacre of Sand Creek, Colo. Who fled to this Cherry Creek Valley remaing (sic) until Joined by forces of other plains tribes for an attack at Julesberg, Colo on 7 of Jan. 1865.
