Figure of a World War I doughboy in combat fatigues, a rifle in his left hand, his right hand raised above his head. A piece of bronze barb-wire loosely encircles his ankles. The sculpture sits atop a granite base that is inscribed with the names of Yamhill County veterans who were killed in the line of duty.
