    Description: 
    A memorial consisting of a V-shaped upright slab with a polished petrified wood inset in the shape of Navajo County on the front, and six bronze relief busts of military personnel. The reliefs depict: a male soldier in World War II army fatigues; a male sailor; a female in U.S. army fatigues; a man in World War II aviator helmet and uniform; a man in beret and military fatigues; and a male sailor in a floatation jacket. At the bottom of the memorial is a bas-relief Native American spiral, painted a rust color. This same design is repeated on the rear of the monument. The monument is placed on a two-tiered base. The top tier is covered with brown tiles.
