    Description: 
    Head of Walt Whitman mounted on a tall rectangular pedestal. The front of the pedestal has a relief plaque of Whitman standing with mustache and beard, wearing a jacket and vest. A commemorative plaque is set above the relief plaque and another plaque is located on the back of the pedestal.
