    The sculpture is sited at Ground Zero, where the world's first atomic bomb was successfully detonated. The site is administered by the Army while the monument is administered by the National Park Service. IAS files include a nomination form for the National Register of Historic Places, publications from the White Sands National Monument, and a booklet entitled "Los Alamos: Beginning of an Era, 1943-1945," prepared by the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
