IAS files contain transcript of excerpts from proceedings of Women's Auxiliary, Spanish-American War Veterans, which discuss commissioning history and dedication of the memorial. The Auxiliary gave $326.00 towards the cost of the memorial. IAS files also contain copy of dedication program and clipping from Milwaukee Journal, May 26, 1941.
