    Description: 
    A war memorial with a globe atop a shaft that has four raised corners, each with an incised star. On the upper front side of the shaft is a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) emblem. All four sides of the shaft are inscribed. The sculpture has a square lower section and is mounted upon a square base.

    Remarks: 
    Monument commemorates those from Walton County who died in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Erected by the Walton County V.F.W. Post No. 4421. IAS files contain a transcription of the World War II names on the sculpture, and a partial transcription of the World War I names.
