    Head of woman shown in proper right profile, with inscription curved around edge of upper half of obverse of medal. The woman is one of the figures from Taft's Fountain of the Great Lakes. The reverse of the medal depicts the entire figure group from the Fountain of the Great Lakes, with their names encircling them.
