    Description: 
    A combat-ready soldier, dressed in full gear. The soldier wears a rounded helmet, a waist-length jacket with flap pockets, broad lapels, and open at the neck; a belt around the jacket with a number of pouches and a canteen attached on the proper right hip area; a backpack with a bedroll, bayonet and shovel attached; loose fitting pants with pouch pockets; and boots with spats covering the ankles. He holds a rifle in front of him. His arms are bent and he leans forward slightly. His feet are shoulder width apart and slightly turned out. The plinth he stands on depicts a rough, rocky piece of ground. The plinth rests on a base which consists of a tapered rectangle topped by a square platform.
