A pediment with three figures. The central figure depicts Justice, seated on a throne with carved lion heads and feet on the arm rests. Her proper left arm is bent at a 90 degree angle, with her hand atop a sword handle, which is held vertically at her side. Her attire consists of heavily folded, draped material. On her proper right is a kneeling male figure with his hands clasped together. He reaches upward to the figure of Justice. His wrists are shackled and chained. He is unclothed from the waist up; the lower portion of his body is draped.
To Justice's proper left is a female figure who is kneeling and pleading. Her proper left hand clutches her breast, while her proper right hand rests on the base of the throne. She has long hair and flowing drapery. Her head is turned upward.
