Inscription:  (On front of base:) IN MEMORY OF/TEXAS CITY/VOLUNTEER FIREMEN unsigned Description:  Full-length female figure of an angel. She wears long flowing robes which drape down to reveal her proper left shoulder. In her proper left arm she cradles a vase of flowers. She is dropping a flower with her proper right hand. She gazes down. The sculpture stands on a small square marble base. The base is on a brick platform in the center of a water fountain.
