    Description: 
    Full-length female figure of an angel. She wears long flowing robes which drape down to reveal her proper left shoulder. In her proper left arm she cradles a vase of flowers. She is dropping a flower with her proper right hand. She gazes down. The sculpture stands on a small square marble base. The base is on a brick platform in the center of a water fountain.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was dedicated to the Texas City volunteer firemen who lost their lives when the ship "Grand Camp" exploded in the Texas City Harbor in 1947. The sculpture was relocated within the cemetery in 1991. IAS files contain copy of related article from The Galveston Daily News, March 21, 1993.
