An eagle, with its wings spread and its head turned to its proper right, is suspended from the ceiling of an alcove above the entrance doors of the Terminal Island Federal Building. The eagle is created with a open design that outlines the feathers covering its wings, tail, and head. A shield with vertical stripes covers the eagle's body. The eagle holds an olive branch in its proper right claw and a bunch of arrows in its proper left claw.
