Sculpture is dedicated to the memory of Ida Devine. It was designed by Eric Ray, Art Director of the University of Judaism. The theme of the number 13 in the sculpture refers to the 13 million Jews in the world, the 13 Principles of Faith according to the Maimonides, and the age at which Jews become adults in the Faith. IAS files contain the full text of the inscription on the plaque on the base.
