Inscription:  (On front of base:) Erected/in the memory of/Rev. Joseph Mendl/Donated by the/Catholic Daughters/of America and/The Nurses Description:  Full-length marble figure of St. Vincent de Paul. He wears a cassock with a waist sash and a cloak over his shoulders. He has a cap on his head. In his proper left arm he cradles an infant. The infant's proper left arm hangs over St. Vincent's arm. To the proper right of St. Vincent stands a young child. St. Vincent's proper right arm is around the child's shoulders. The sculpture stand atop a granite base. It was moved to its current location in the mid-1950's. Ownership remained the same.
