A depiction of St. Stephen, sitting with his legs apart and facing west. The proper left leg is bent slightly, with only the proper left heel connected to the base. The proper right leg is straight, with the entire leg attached to the base. St. Stephen's upper body is leaning back at an approximately 45 degree angle. His weight rests on his proper left elbow, with the proper left arm bent and the palm facing upward. His proper right arm is fully extended straight above his head with the palm open towards the sky. His head is tilted back with his face turned to the sky. He has a full head of hair, beard, and moustache. He wears a drape over his proper right shoulder which falls in gathers in his lap. The sculpture is placed on a gravelled area, approximately 45 feet in length and 20 feet in width, surrounded by timbers and shrubbery.
