Description:
Full-length figure of Joan of Arc. She wears a full suit of armor: sabotons, greaves, kneecaps and cuisses on her legs; a breastplate, metal apron and cloth skirt on her torso; gauntlets, vambaces and pauldrons on her arms. Her proper left hand rests on a shield which rests on the ground near her proper left leg. The shield has a sword, crown and fleur-de-lis on its face. She holds a flagstaff with her proper right arm; the base of the staff rests on the ground beside her proper right leg. The staff is topped with a fleur-de-lis and there is a fleur-de-lis pattern on the flag. The flag drapes over her proper right shoulder. The metal sculpture stands atop a base composed of mortared blocks of red granite.
