    Description: 
    A welded iron sculpture of St. Isidore standing with a hoe in his proper left hand and his proper right hand resting on a plow in front of him. He has a beard and is dressed in a broad-brimmed hat and knee-length coat. An iron flower accented with pieces of red, yellow and blue colored glass is at his proper left side. The sculpture is mounted atop a truncated pyramidal base that serves as a planter.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was dedicated and blessed at St. Rose Catholic Church on Nov. 20, 1982. Materials for the sculpture were provided by from Mr. and Mrs. Jim Baresh of Schulenburg Steel. The base was donated by Frank Bohlmann of Schulenburg. Other community members donated materials and helped install the sculpture. IAS files contain a related article from The Schulenburg Sticker, Nov. 25, 1982.
