St. Rita Roman Catholic Church, Baltimore, Maryland

This monument honoring the service of arson investigation dogs and their trainers was created by Colorado fire fighter Austin Weishel. Serving as models for the dog and handler depicted in the monument are fellow Colorado fire fighter Jerry Means and his arson investigation dog Sadie, a black labrador retriever. The sculpture traveled across the country on a twelve city tour from Denver, Colorado to Washington, DC where it was dedicated in its new home in front of Fire Station No. 3 on June 28, 2012.
