    Description: 
    Four sculptures located high on four sides of a chapel tower. On the south side is a half-length figure of an angel with wings. The figure holds a shield in front of its chest. On the east side is a bust of a man with a beard. He wears a medieval crown and shirt with wide collar. On the north side is the bust of a female. She wears a wimple and hood. On the west side is a bust of a female. She wears a wimple and crown.

    Remarks: 
    Vaughan was the architect for the chapel. The chapel was built in 1886-1888, but the tower of the chapel was erected in 1894. The tower was built in memory of Mrs. Henry A. Coit, wife of the first rector of the school. IAS files contain copy of related school correspondence.
