Description:
St. Patrick stands in robes with a sash and tassels hanging from his sleeves. He has a beard and long hair, and wears a peaked Bishop's hat. He holds a Bishop's staff with his proper left hand. The handle of the staff contains a three leaf clover inside a curl at the top. He holds a shamrock in the fist of his proper right hand at chest-level. Two snakes are curled next to his proper right shoe. The sculpture has a short, square self base and is mounted upon a slightly tapered base made of mortared fieldstone with a concrete cap.

Remarks:
The sculpture was a gift of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ricardi. IAS files contain excerpt from Frederic B. Lehr's "Carroll, New Hampshire, The First Two Hundred Years 1772-1972," Littleton, N.H.: 1972, pg.77-78, which gives history of the new church built in 1915.
