Mary stands wearing robes and a hood, holding the Christ child at chest level on her proper left side. The Christ child holds up his proper right hand, with two fingers raised in a gesture of blessing. Mary is barefoot and stands on a swirl of clouds. The statue is mounted on top of a multiplaned base with a cross on the central, pedestal-like element. Recessed on either side of the central element are relief-like kneeling angels in profile.
