Sculpture: painted, probably cast metal; Base: limestone.

Sculpture: approx. 8 ft. x 2 ft. x 18 in.; Base: approx. 8 in. x 2 ft. x 2 ft.

A full-length, standing figure of Saint Joseph, holding the infant Jesus in his proper right hand and the flowering staff in his proper left hand. Jesus sits upright upon Saint Joseph's proper right forearm. Jesus has both arms extended forward and downward, with the palms of his hands facing outward. St. Joseph is bearded and both figures are clad in full-length robes. The sculpture and base are set in a niche above entrance to St. Joseph's Church.
