(Christ: approx. 5 ft. 3 in. x 28 in. x 18 in.); (Mary: approx. 5 ft. x 20 in. x 18 in.).

Christ and the Virgin Mary are mounted in second-story, rectangular niches on either side of the front entrance to the St. John Bosco Catholic Church. On the left, a robed figure of Christ stands with hands extended upward in a gesture of blessing. On the right, a robed figure of the Virgin Mary with full-length mantle covering her head stands with hands clasped in prayer. A serpent is beneath her and the cusps of a crescent are visible at each side of her feet. Each niche has a projecting limestone frame.
