    Description: 
    St. Francis standing with his proper left arm lifted. A bird with wings outstretched is perched on his proper left hand. St Francis's head is raised and turned to the proper left to look at the bird. His proper right arm is bent and held close to his body, cradling a squirrel. He appears to be in mid-stride, with the proper left foot forward and his proper right heel slightly elevated from the base. He wears a loose flowing floor length robe with a cowl style collar, oversized sleeves, and a cord tied at the waist. The base is low to the ground and is an irregularly-shaped piece of concrete.
