    Description: 
    A three-dimensional male face protrudes from the front side of the rectangular section on the sculpture. The man is wearing a hat that has a circle on the lower, front center. The other side of the sculpture has been split open to reveal the orb of the brain in a recessed cavity which is surrounded by a pair of aluminum calipers.

    Remarks: 
    The artist was awarded $17,000 by Maine's Percent for Art program for his sculpture design which was installed outside the Jewet Machine Tool Technology Center. The artist shared his creation with students who helped with modelmaking, blueprints, and the actual construction. The sculpture includes a time capsule.
