Description:
A standing figure of St. Pius X in papal garb. He wears a cap, a buttoned short cape, and in his proper right hand holds a double chain. His toes protrude from beneath his robes. The sculpture has a short, square marble base and is mounted upon a square fieldstone base topped with a slab of concrete.

Remarks:
The sculpture was blessed in Oct. 1954 by Cardinal Gregory Agagianian and placed in St. Francis Chapel. In June 1958 it was placed next to the Pilgrim Chapel. In Sept. 1958 it was blessed again, by Father Noel McSweeney, S. A. It has been given the Confraternity of the Christian Doctrine.
