    4 reliefs. Each relief: approx. 2 x 2 1/2 x 1 ft.
    Description: 
    Four reliefs, two on each side of the bridge spans, depict male figures which representing the two main characteristics of the Pittsburgh area, industry and coal mining. The coal mining relief depicts a couching man carrying a pickax. The coal miner relief is repeated on the right sides of each bridge span. The industry relief depicts a man holding a gear wheel. The industry relief is repeated on the left sides of each bridge span.
