    Full-length portrait of Benjamin Franklin. He wears eighteenth century dress and carries a tricorner hat in his proper right hand. In his proper left hand he holds a furled document. The bronze sculpture is painted gold and stands on a granite base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned by William Zeckendorf and was given as a gift to the Franklin National Bank in 1960. The sculpture was dedicated on the 255th anniversary of Franklin's birth. The sculpture came into the collection of the European-American Bank & Trust Company when that company took over Franklin National Bank. The sculpture was repainted in 1993.
