The floor of the fountain has a design of white marble squares with black and gray diamonds arranged in such a way that a three-dimensional effect is created. There are two concentric circle openings from which jets of water emerge at times. At about 20 minute intervals, from a square outlet in the ceiling (80 ft. above the triangle), tiny columns of water descend to meet the rising jets, which can ascend anywhere from 2 to 60 ft. in the air. At every hour on the hour, music is heard for five minutes, and the jets rise to their greatest heights and volumes in computerized time to the music.
