Description:
Figures of Mary and Jesus flank the Church entrance. Jesus stands on the left, wearing a flowing garment with a Sacred Heart emblem at his chest. His arms are upraised at chest level. Mary wears a flowing hooded garment whose edges are embellished with fleur de lis and foliate scrolls. Her hands are together in a prayer pose with rosary beads draped over them. The base of each figure bears a plaque listing names of parishioners who were killed in World War II.

Remarks:
The figures were installed in the 1930s by the then pastor of Saint Michael's Parish who acquired them on a visit to Rome. The plaques were added after World War II.
