Description:
A tall, narrow, ornamented cross with four recesses for figures, two of which are filled. One alcove has an aviator wearing a thigh length coat,leather cap and goggles, and knee-high boots. To the aviator's proper right, in another alcove, is Saint Michael wearing a Roman-style tunic and helmet. With both hands he is driving a spear through the mouth of a small dragon kneeling at his feet. The cross stands on a large, octagonal pedestal with inscriptions.

Remarks:
The figures are located on property listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Figures are a memorial to local Episcopal servicemen who died during World War I. Originally, there were four figures on the Cross, but the figures of the Soldier and the Sailor have been stolen. IAS files contain related articles from The Laramie Republican (Laramie, WY), July 5, 1924; and from The Wyoming Churchman, Aug. 1922, July 1924, pg. 1, March 1925, and Jan. 1933.
