    Description: 
    Confederate soldier in uniform stands at parade rest. He wears a hat and holds the barrel of his rifle with both hands. The butt of the gun is on the ground. He is atop a tall shaft with inscriptions. On one side of the shaft are reliefs of crossed flags and on the other side are crossed muskets. The shaft stands atop a multitiered base.
