A tortoise stands on all four legs directly on a plaza. Its head is out of its shell and is tilted high to its proper left.

Remarks:
This sculpture is a limited edition of fifty. It was modeled after a life size tortoise. The sculpture was designed for children to climb on it, and children often sit on its back. Nearby plaque reads: Galapagos Tortoise. A native of the Galapagos Islands off the coast of South America. The Galapagos Tortoise is one of the largest and longest-lived reptiles in the world weighing over 500 pounds and living up to 200 years.
