Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Standing figure of an African-American man wearing a billed cap and boots. He has an elongated proper left arm, with elbow resting on a trowel, arm held upward. His proper right arm is much shorter and extends directly out in front of his body. The man is painted white, his hat, belt, boots and trowel are painted black. On his chest is "1976" in raised letters, painted black.
