Remarks:
Albert Somerville (1829-1898) of 709 Queen City Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama was the son of Dr. James Somerville and Helen Glassell Wallace Somerville. He was born in Madison County, Virginia and he attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa from 1843-1846. He served as captain in Bates 13th Texas Regiment, C.S.A., Galveston. In 1856 he married Ann Craddock of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They had no children.
